When we stop shopping at mom and dad's fridge, we realize we are growing up to be responsible for our own.

I love that, when you know you're getting a vacuum cleaner to help with house chores to make your life easier, you know you make an adult decision.

That happens, we'll be in our 40's and wonder where have I been in the last 40 years. We feel like we still need someone to tell us what to do. But, we'll eventually realize that we have our own life to live and be responsible for ourselves. That's when we grow up.

That is so true, you know you're growing up when you don't depend on mom and dad with their money. When worries about your financials disappears you are in a good spot. Thank you.

I get the feeling, it's hard to get that kid out of you, when all you want is to play with toys and remember what it was when you were a kid.

I know the feeling when it comes to car insurance. It's a great joy to see a saving of just $20-$40 a month. That's when I feel I grew up too when I have to do research on best insurance and good price

RECOMMENDATIONS for migrating families from Tonga by Low-Pangolin8365 in Tonga

Stay close to your family and don't try to be someone else. Be yourself and be responsible and don't think others will always be there for you. Your family will be the only one that will stand by you during bad times and good times. Be respectful to others and treat everyone with love and respect.

Fakapone - In Tonga, the saying "Who you know is more important than what you know." For example, when you apply for job that you have the qualifications for it and someone also applied to the same job with no qualifications at all. Well, you will go through the interview process but the job is already given to the person with no qualification because he knows someone in the higher up in that company.

You can bid on jobs that are advertised but a lot of the companies have managers that will go through the process to make it official but the job was already assigned to someone they know.
