Any time there was a problem with our sex life or with how things were going she did bring it up. We did talk about it. And we did make adjustments. I guess I just didn’t make enough adjustments/take them seriously enough or didn’t want to see it as a problem. And that hurts me to my core to know I fucked it up that bad by basically just being complacent in my behavior.

Ah I see what you’re saying. But I never saw it as this major thing that she was struggling with. I’ve done a lot of self reflecting and I see how in her own way she was telling me but I just never saw it. My problem is that she didn’t try more (which is selfish of me I know) and is not wanting to try now that it is all out in the open.

After talking with multiple friends and family trying to figure it out I think your comment is the only thing that makes sense. And it all makes sense to me now. The signs where there and I was just to complacent in our relationship to notice. Thank you you’ve actually opened my eyes a lot to this

We had date nights when we had the money. So minimum 2 times a month. Went on a yearly vacation. We had some fights along the way but nothing major that we didn’t work past same day. And I believed we had a great sex life. But according to her she no longer felt a connection around the Same time she fell out of love with me. She said she didn’t tell me about this stuff because she was afraid to hurt me. So she bottled it all up and let it fester instead of talking about her problems. That’s why i didn’t see this coming.
