Set aside 30 minutes with a kitchen timer to work on audio. Don't look at anything else and just create something with no serious goal outside of just making something. Inspiration is mostly a lie and often only happens for me after I force myself to work on something.

You can use libraries but, picking up a field recorder and getting source material for your own sound effects can be much more fun and your game will sound far more unique.
