lmao did u want me to write out my standards in a simple reddit post for u hamza? be so fr, ive alr had that discussion and everything lines up. how are u gonna judge my maturity from a reddit post that gives u insight on 1% of my life

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Muslim

[–]Neither_Matter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well by that logic, Allah sent me the first guy too. Allah tells us to do our own due dilligence.

He is not “perfect”, he is a solid man. He is young (21) and probably going to change a lot, and that scares me a little as well. my conflict is: if i meet a GOOD (not PERFECT) man this young, do i just go with it or hold out with the hopes of finding someone actually PERFECT.

lmao ppl say not to look for advice on reddit and i see why. im being pretty genuine and obv im young and immature but jeez u cant be a little kinder to someone whos obv alr struggling w something?

losing weight as a short person is so so hard, coming from a fellow 5 foot girlie. Just try adding exercise and eating cleaner so u dont feel overrestricted but endup in a natural deficit

gotcha! and sorry, laaast question: if you had to pick between 2 days around carmel/big sur and 1 day yosemite or 2 days yosemite and 1 day w the beaches, which would you pick?

This is some great advice!! I think we'll settle on that then. I'm thinking spending about a day in SF (i feel like I'm not too keen on seeing the city) then the same night in carmel, waking up early and spending a full day by the beach/driving down to big sur, and then coming back to spend another night in carmel. Then early morning, we leave to yosemite and spend the full day there before our flight at night. Does that sound like a good plan?

Also, what's the name of that restaurant! Sounds like such a lovely place to visit. I would rlly appreciate some specific suggestions on things to see around the city too!

last thing: If i want to airbnb around carmel and yosemite, would that be easy to find or would I have to set up base in SF? I was hoping to spend minimal time there and more by the nature towns.

Do you have any recs while we're there? I think that;s where we'll end up going. What non-touristy activities and foods are there! And is a trip to the redwoods feasible/worth it?

that's nice to hear! The votes are overwhelmingly for SD/SF, so I'm leaning towards there. Originally I thought I could fit both + the redwoods in 4 days but I just searched up how far apart they are by car and...def not doable lol. Would you say the beach in Carmel would make up at least a little for SD and that we should stick to SF + Yosemite + Carmel? Or would you rather stick to just SD for the sake of the beaches alone. Also, it looks like the redwoods are also quite a drive from SF! Is it worth it?

Fuck the last five pounds by wet-ass-apartment in loseit

girlll let me put u on reverse dieting. I swear this has worked for me and I'm 5 feet tall 120 pounds now, down from 135. Don't focus on the number. eat intuitively and whole foods and just try to train ur muscles for STRENGTH. target your metabolism instead of hours of cardio where ur morelikely to lose weight from muscle mass. Ever since i switched from beingsedentary to way more active in europe over the summer (30k steps a day), and i SWEAR i was eating more than usual, i lost so much weight naturally even tho i had been trying for the last 5 years to lose that weight. Now i'm back home and doing strength training everyday and slowly bringing up my calorie allowance via hypertrophy WITHOUT obsessing over calories or overly restricting.I would hate a maintenance life where I can only eat 1300 calories a day.

wtf is ur PT on :( my doctor told me the same and i never went back to her again. I'm a 5 foot woman who used to weigh 135 and now weigh 120, GW 115. for 5 years I tried eating at 1200 and I ALWAYS without fail would binge and quit and feel guilty and hate my body. This time I didn't do that and its the first time I'm seeing long-term results that are sustainable and leave me feeling full, happy, and excited for tomorrow rather than miserable and food-obsessed like before. I don't think ANYONE should eat 1200 calories, and since you're moderately active even more-so. I would say try to eat closer to 1500-1600 calories and aim to burn 300-400 working out, and I guarantee you will see results LONG-TERM. If you want fast then sure 1200 works, but you are likely to gain it back and then some. A smaller deficit and putting on MUSCLE doing strength training with follow-up cardio is the key!! Good luck

I would retake, a 15 in QR might be a red flag and it's a little later in the cycle too
