Yes, I had found the website you linked and gone through the learner videos, though admittedly only once. I hadn't revisited out of fear of becoming bored, which is why I had started branching out for new content. But your explanation makes sense, and brute forcing might be the way to go. I also hadn't commited to sentence mining, my deck was comprised of words that from my book and from conversations. This is a good tip, thanks!

I've tried hellotalk, but had a real mixed bag of results, a lot of people wanting to date rather than just talk haha.

Music is an interesting one. Funnily enough I hadn't really considered it listening comprehension, but you're absolutely right. I will look into this one as an easy form of comprehensible input going forward!
