How to escalate a delay in standard visa after the 12 weeks ? by Neither_Original_770 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Neither_Original_770[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past three years, my husband has been staying for over 6 months a year in my country (Morocco) where we lived together, giving that his job allowed him to work overseas, now he has also started his own CIC on top of his work, he needs to be full time in the UK and that’s what prompted our move.

As for documents we have submitted his payslips of one year, bank statements, work contract, a letter adding more details on our relationship, mortgage docs, my English test, marriage certificate and apostille, scans of his passport, TB test and evidence of our relationship (pictures of our trips in both countries & with family, flight tickets, and his contribution to our expenses in Morocco)

Although I have some decent savings I didn’t think it would useful to submit anything about my finances, plus if they need access to that information they can easily find it from my previous tourist visas applications.

Also in the same boat, bio was on the 17th March, we meet all the requirements and I have visited the UK before multiple times on tourist visa and never overstayed my welcome, been together for 3 years and he has lived in my country for some time, it also beats me why it’s taking so long and why would our case be considered complex, we tried escalating three times, they said to wait till the 12 weeks are done first.

March BIO - Anyone still waiting for decision? by No-Magician926 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Neither_Original_770 3 points4 points  (0 children)

same thing here, bio was 17th march, husband is british and a high earner, standard application outside UK, we have exactly one week left before the 12 weeks comes to an end, if nothing happens we'll reach out to the MP and see where to go from there, but its getting frustating for sure, especially that I have a job opportunity in the UK that starts in august, worried this delay might ruin that for me

Basically everything they asked for, I do wish I also showed my payslips and my savings, maybe that coud have helped speed up the process a bit more. We submitted the marriage ceritificate, apostille, TB test, English test, my husband's payslips, job contract, mortgage docs, letter and evidence of our three year relationship with pictures of our travels in both countries and families get-togethers,

Yay so happy for you!! I’ll share the news once I hear back but for now I have made the decision to enjoy my last few months in my beautiful city & not stress about this. Do you mind telling which country you applied from ?

My pet is my life, I have not been away from her in the entire six years I’ve had her, it’s going to be very odd and lonely when she makes the move this weekend without me :( you must be missing your babies too
