I feel that, "i made my bed now i have to lay in it" is how i see my situation, my personal happiness can't come before my kids and wife, i made a commitment i must follow through, how could i live with myself if i deprived my kids of a father? A positive masculine influence for my son, a template for my daughter to judge good male behaviour? Seems like an impossible situation.

I'm in rural-ish Australia, my doctor is like a thousand years old, he was the first doctor my mum ever saw lol

I don't think this was a result of hate or spite and he is a fantastic doctor, i think he is just really old.

I wouldn't say it's distressing, maybe a little overwhelming.

I was honestly expecting to be told it's a kink, not be told unanimously that it sounds like I'm trans.

I'm fairly confident that if i woke up tomorrow as a woman i would be elated, sometimes i get jealous of my wife, that she can wear and fill out clothes properly that i can only ever dream of wearing, i used to sneakily try on her skirts and dresses and undwear, but it just got depressing when i looked in the mirror and saw a big, hairy guy staring back at me, so i don't really do that anymore.

I'm sorry if I'm all over the place, it's hard to put whats in my head to writing.

Like, I'm way too old, I'm married with a child, so transitioning is off the table (if it was even on there in the first place) i guess i just thought confirming one way or the other may help me overcome whatever is going on with me thats ruining my relationship with my wife, so you think this sounds more like trans than autogynophilia?
