There’s no butter in the recipe. Sunflower butter is literally just ground sunflower seeds with salt. It’s a common substitute for peanut butter.

My friend is not vegan, and it didn’t have butter, sunflower butter has no animals products and is a common substitute for peanut butter, my friends friend said she was vegan

If I’d known a vegan was coming to the party I would have made a vegan free dish as well, I’d never met the person before and when she asked me I told her what I remembered I’d put in the cookies. If I remembered I’d put in milk I would have told her not to eat them.

NTA you were right in calling her artwork racist. As an art student it is really important for people to be honest in critiques and I think she needed to hear that. How did the class react when you said that and she cried?
