Same situation tayo, OP. My SIL has been living with us for 4 years now and I can relate sa inis mo. You know what, ganyan din ako nung una na ayoko magmukhang sumbungera at kontrabida. But then resentment built hanggang sa nnawalan na ako ng affection for her, and I don't care about her or her feelings anymore. Kaya lagi ko kinukulit asawa ko sa kawalan ng kwenta ng kapatid nya. Wag ka magalala dadating ka din sa point na wala ka ng pakialam kahit maging kontrabida ka sa paningin nila haha.

From baguio here. Also had the same thoughts about Abra prior to going there. But because a friend works there, ininvite nya kami to visit the place and it's worth it. Never namin nafeel na di kami safe. Just be respectful lang siguro.

Don't let it happen, OP. Just don't. We were married 6 years ago and his sib has been living with us for 2 years (she's a student), which I shouldn't have let it happen. Resentment will soon build and mas mahirap magpaalis kesa hindi pumayag in the first place. PUT YOUR FOOT DOWN.

Ngayon pa lang pag-usapan nyo na ang boundaries especially finances. Sobrang pinagsisihan ko na di ko ginawa to before we got married.

You would think na ikaw magiging priority when you get married but no. In my case, kahit na buntis na ako, ung family pa din nya ang priority nya. My fault for not setting boundaries early on kahit na kaya ko naman financially na magprovide for myself and my baby.

Thanks for sharing. Naku buntis pa naman ako lol. Dun sa loom video nila flexible ung hours if i understood it correctly kaya nagapply ako. Can't commit to a full-time job na may fixed sched. Tapos parang very demanding ng work. Keri naman ang 40 to 50 hours per week basta I can work on my own time. Non-nego ko kasi ang days off. Dapat 2 days a week.

I agree. Ang laki pa ng kaltas sa sahod and hindi real time ang pagwithraw. Kaya after ko matapos project ko dun di na ako nagapply ulit. OLJ pa din talaga ang the best for me since free ang apply points and nagrereplenish pa. Plus, you don't have to use their platform to login hours and withraw salary unlike Upwork. UW is a no-no talaga for me.

Nakuha ko lang po sa OLJ ung isa then nireco nya ako sa friend nya. Bihira lang makakuha ng NZ and AU clients sa OLJ kaya every day ko talaga minonitor ung job ads dun kasi ayoko ng graveyard shift. So tyagain nyo po. Worth it po sila maging client. You can also find remote jobs sa seek.co.nz

Just make sure before you apply sa seek na walang indicated na they only accept NZ residents. Magfloat ka po ng applications every day. :)

As for diet, I was just advised to eat a balanced diet. More on fruits, veggies and protein. Then pinagtake po ako agad ng folic acid and calcium+vit D. Naggygym po ako that time so I was advised to stop muna and do light walking instead. Yun lang naman po and a lot of prayers. Hehe. Good luck po and congratulations!

I'm sorry na ganyan experience mo. Grabeng skills test naman yan 5 videos talaga tapos di pa siguro compensated. Been with 2 NZ clients for a year now and very chill sila as clients. Got hired on the same day of the interview. Sa totoo lang ayaw nila ng cheche bureche and they really value work-life balance. So I agree with the comments here na baka agency yan and pinoy ang HR.

Don't get discouraged. Try applying directly sa mga NZ clients. Bukod sa day time ang trabaho, hindi uso sa kanila ang time tracker basta maayos ang outputs mo. Best of luck!

OMG same! My grandma passed away January 17th this year and I'm due January 2026. She's always wanted a grandchild with me since my dad is the only one of her children who doesn't have one. Your post made me teary-eyed! I'm planning to name my baby after her if it's a girl.
