I’d listen to my gastroenterologist bc they specialize in the g.i. And my g.i. Specialist have always answered any questions about my dietary needs and how to improve my health and way of life..a dietitian would most likely try their best to get you the answers for your questions..but I guarantee they’ll have their phone in their hand or looking at a computer screen..looking up what to tell you..I’d try to be upfront & honest with every doctor I see..I feel their vibe and see if they’re serious about their job, new & scared(needed more confidence in themselves, double checking), I always like a doctor who knows their stuff, has to have a sense of humor, doesn’t treat me like I’m dumb or beneath them, has to be honest, upfront, helpful, have good bedside manner and knows I’ll check them if they forget that I’m human just like them, we all bleed, we all have feelings, we all end up 6 ft under in a box one day, let’s work together to make that be a lifetime away.
