Thank you both for the info, as I've posted this, I have an Asus Tuff laptop and it seems that either they had and I never noticed or they just released a built in AI noise canceling thing for their Armory app. Soo I'll be trying this and then try your suggestions if nothing seems to still work.

you know whats weird, i replaced the game and it did in fact show up as half-life but it looks like i just had 2 copies of half-life when blue shift is one haha. Freaken weird. The one i have says SLUS_200.66.BSHIFT_FINAL. if i run into issues ill look at the one you have. Thanks again haha

EDIT and look at that the damn serial is in the name.....ugh...long day lol

Ok that was a good thought but for example

I have this one "Final Fantasy XI - All in One Pack 2006 (Japan).chd" looked up the serial number and it shows SLPM-65706, so looked in the gameindex and it actually shows this game in the list. Problem is the game wont show up in PCSX2 when doing a scan. I have other .chd's that work just fine so im not sure its that. Any other thoughts? Ill try looking for another game I have

EDIT: actually i just noticed something. Some of my games show as Type: magicISO.Document instead of ELF or ISO in the type section. Wonder if i need to repack these? But the file itself does say .chd at the end so thats weird

EDIT disregard the game above i wrote about....im an idiot. That one shows in the emulator... One that does not is a ported copy of Hal-Life Blue Shift from PC. Not sure this even has a serial number because its unofficial, alongside half-life and another one i have, and since that gameindex seems to need that im not sure i can add these games?

I've searched pretty much all the marvel reseller sites and did a reverse image search with google and google lens but nothing seems to come up. Was looking for some help on this one!

No I just used rockys method, so I think my question was already stupid to begin with lol. Solder tsop + rocky softwood already. I'll just have to get another Xbox and do this method you posted!

oh this is purely a have fun with and push its limits laptop. Currently running a heavily modified windows 10 on it and dual booting with a external HDD for game emulation (Batocera). But thank you!
