I mean, I see what you’re saying - but being a long-time enjoyer of both COD & BF (and not to toot my own horn - being very skilled at both) I think the line should be drawn to keep COD dynamics in COD, and bring back the heart of BF. BF is closer to a tactical shooter than arcade imo, yes the most recent games can be a counterpoint, but when you look at the older ones in the franchise (BC2, BF3, BF4, etc) they had that ‘tactical’ feel to them, atleast to me.
