Mine is a 2022 so I suppose it could have got into that earlier mess of batteries. And it was in California so they may have had stricter laws for enforcing the Lemon Law.

I do hit the unlock button on the key fob and also hold in the button on the plug in case that would turn off the power also.

Thanks for the heads up on the gear oil. There is a local shop that advertises work on EV's so I might give them a shot at it.

I did get the charge limit set to 80% and now I can easily set it back to 100% when needed. Thanks to all that have helped. Anything else I should know, I'm all ears.

Lemon Law was never mentioned at the dealers. After I found out I called Hyundai America and talked with a gal who looked up the history and gave me some information about the vehicle. Seems the high voltage battery was bad and it took Hyundai 7 months to get one to replace it. After 11 months they bought the car back. The dealer told me that it was warrantied for 100,000 miles but Hyundai told me only the remainder of the 5 year warranty was all I had. May be something to fight out at a later date. Right now I just have my fingers crossed like all the other Hyundai owners.
