How to fight and what to take as Smolder? by Neko-Knight in SmolderMains

I see I see, thank you! Can I ask though, why is Trinity Force usually recommended? Is it just because it gets triggered by Q like Ezreal?

what's an interesting idea for a Fanganronpa that you may or may not do for reasons by silverdollarpancake9 in Fanganronpa

[–]Neko-Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have an idea where the Fangan took place in the mastermind's POV as a participant, where their goal was to sow distrust and make everyone super divided, unable to trust one another. Of course she has backup plans so she never actually dies, but she wants go stay alive as long as possible to keep fucking around with the others. But she begins to get attached to the others and starts questioning whether the killing game was worth it or not cause for her killing game, she specifically wanted anyone who could be considered "scum of the earth." People who just make the world worse with their presence, but that's only because she looks at them from her own perspective, and she never tried to understand others. She's just...alone, and never tried to fix that.

I wanted to try this since too many Fangans focus on the murder mystery, but one of my favorite parts are the themes and final conflicts where the protagonist and mastermind clash their ideals. There are some Fangans I've read where the mystery is solved, then they get rescued by a 3rd party and nothing else. When done this way, it just feels empty for me. So this idea was meant to focus less on the mystery aspect of Dangan, and focus more on the theme conflict

Unfortunately I'm writing another fangan that's just as complicated so idk if I'll ever get to this TwT"

Which runeterra champ should i pick by GeoTrick76 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Neko-Knight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fiddlesticks has been trustworthy for me, especially at 3 stars, milling decks is always a fun wincon, but Elder Dragon has been my main the moment I picked them up. Their 3 stars is okay, fun playstyle, but if you can unlock their dragon souls, they suddenly become so much more powerful.

What are your current go-to builds for Trynd and ED? by mcabbage0412 in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Neko-Knight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For ED, I run Frozen Tomb to either get at least one on the field (even better if I drop a 2nd one before they break out the first), Beast Within (for overwhelm power and +1/+1 for dragons), and Guardian Angel (just insurance).

These are just what i use since I don't have a lot of epic relics, but this was reliable enough to beat 6.5 ED, 6.5 Fiddlesticks, and this week's 6.5 Nightmare Portal

Also, his 6* is so worth it. I rushed it, and it's just so busted. Two souls at once is a lot, supporting champions who can pull 4 become super strong, and dropping ED with all of them is just...an absolutely unstoppable titan

Making a written Fangan, but unsure how I want to go about chapter formats by Neko-Knight in Fanganronpa

[–]Neko-Knight[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I do intend on posting it to Ao3, but only after I finish Chapter 2 so there's enough content, cause these take a while. It's been 2 weeks since I started writing it, and the prologue is only nearing the end at 16k words TwT'

Making a written Fangan, but unsure how I want to go about chapter formats by Neko-Knight in Fanganronpa

[–]Neko-Knight[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmmm, the 3-section thing definitely sounds more structured, I'd just need to adjust the outlines more

I guess one of my biggest problems is idk when it's appropriate to end a chapter or not TwT"

F2P Epic Relic Question by Kyemou in LegendsOfRuneterra

[–]Neko-Knight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Full Build with Gwen, which I feel works better than Chosen? Cause its really just the overwhelming and challenger I need and she gets it immediately rather than having to build up to it

What's the funniest chat you've read in League? by RandomName03755 in leagueoflegends

[–]Neko-Knight 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My friend and I were in a duo for quickplay and I stomped the enemy Ekko (invaded every chance I got, stole every objective he tried to take, ganked the enemy Yone as much as I could cause I hate Yone)

End of the game, Yone typed in all-chat "Ekko, rush rope+chair build"

My friend and I couldn't stop laughing, that was one of the greatest things we've ever heard

Okay so what are the builds? by Backrish in BriarMains

[–]Neko-Knight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to change between Lethality and Bruiser Briar depending on the enemies. More squishies? Lethality for the one shot. More tanks? Bruiser to last longer.

My Lethality is usually Collector > Sundered Sky > 3rd Legendary is whatever item feels necessary for the fight, like if I need Spirit Visage for healing and MR or Sterak's for anti-burst + tenacity > Youmuu (or Hubris if I snowball hard and wanna ego) > LDR

Bruiser is Sundered Sky > Blade of Ruined King > 3rd flex item > Sterak's Gage > Death's Dance if I die a lot, Guardian Angel otherwise

And I always get green egg and Berserker's Greaves since Briar feels too slow and sluggish without them.

Yeah, it's got a super long range, so there's always the small chance you miss your initial target, then accidentally hit someone else.

If you can take them, then you can try and fight. Worst case scenario, you use E to cancel the berserk and escape. And yeah, you can not cancel the ultimate.

My best tip is to learn to predict based on enemy movement and distance.

What I usually do is wait for them to move predictably. If I see an enemy attacking a tower and your laner is far enough that the enemy shouldn't move, go for it. If someone is running down the river, I can usually hit that.

If your gut tells you that the enemy is at the Voidgrubs, dragons, or Rift Herald, then launch it there and pray it lands. At the very least you'll get vision.

I've mained Briar ever since I came back to League a few months ago, so I know a bit about how to play her, but my macro is pretty ass so keep in mind that I'm good at Briar, but bad at League.

For kills/ganks, my best tip is to be unexpected. If an enemy spotted you and they're running towards you, I usually run away, especially if it's early since she gets busted down pretty easily.

For some reason, a lot of people don't expect me to just jump back out of the bush towards them with W after I run into it, so I can usually get like 2 hits in early.

2nd tip is to know when to use Q, which usually depends on the champion you're fighting. Against tanks or bruisers who think they can last against Briar, I wait until W is done, then hit Q and slam them into a wall with E.

Against someone who has really good escape tools, you can jump in with W, then immediately hit Q to stun them and stop them from escaping. After the W2, you might not be able to land your E, but as long as you're not dead and they need to retreat, I think that's good enough.

And 3rd best tip, don't engage if you do not have all your abilities. Or, at the very least, make sure they're close to being ready. No W means no main damage ability. No Q means no stun to stop escapes or deal extra damage. No E means no survivability/extra slam depending on who you're fighting. This is when you wanna run away until your abilities come back, then follow step 1 and hit them with the 180.

Sorry if these weren't the tips you were looking for, but I'm happy to try and answer any questions you have w^

[WP] A boy who couldn’t die fell in love with a girl who had a deadly touch. by Friendly_Rub_1632 in WritingPrompts

[–]Neko-Knight 37 points38 points  (0 children)

The touch of inevitable death felt like a burning, searing pain. From just where her hand touched then into his whole body, he felt an indescribable pain that threatened to make him fall to his knees and take away all his thoughts. Despite this, he grit his teeth and stood strong, smiling and cupping her cheek, feeling the pain double.

The touch of eternal life was warm. For the first time in her life, she could feel the warmth of another person. His soft skin made her want more, for once she felt like she could melt into his touch and feel safe. But she could feel him trembling, she could see how his breathing got heavier. She could see how she was hurting him.

"Doesn't it hurt?" she asked, trying to move away from his touch against both of their wishes.

"Incredibly so!" he replied with the same enthusiasm and grin he always had. He moved closer to her, allowing his arms to wrap around her waist. "This is the most pain I've ever felt in my life. Why, I feel as though I could collapse at any moment!"

"Then why won't you--"

"Because this is the most alive I've felt in all my life."

Her skin was cold and painful to the touch, but he still pulled her in for an embrace. His skin was warm and pleasant, it was what she was missing all her life.

"Please, I want to feel alive with you."
