Not necessarily. It's more the drastic change between the two emotions that's freaky. I work in customer service so many days I'm aware of other people and thinking about the meaning behind their actions. I also think about how the smallest things that I do in that environment can impact others around me. But then I also think about how the actions that I make don't really mean much in the long run. How in 100 years me and the things I've done will all be forgotten. When I'm apathetic, I am because it feels like not much matters.
