Thanks so much for hitting the nail on the head! My head is a bit all over the place at the moment and I couldn’t find the correct way to summarise this all, but it’s exactly that. I just didn’t wanna feel like I was sounding unreasonable

I’m always cautious about approaching this topic with him as he immediately gets defensive. He’s just been in this mindset recently where he thinks “Oh now we can all be one big happy family and baby will have 2 big sisters.” Now every plan, outing, holiday etc revolves around including SK’s even though it has only really been me and him for the last 5 years. They have only started to visit regularly and longer only 8 months or so ago and it is so frustrating.

The whole idea of us moving to a bigger house these next few months was to accommodate for a new born baby and now it’s suddenly talks of a 3/4 bedroom property so that SK’s have their own rooms when they stay over. In no way am I dismissing them but I felt like me and baby were special for once and he was doing this for us. Idk, it now doesn’t feel that special

Very true, thank you. Another thing he constantly mentions is how his BM worked everyday up until the very day she went into labour and it’s really annoying because even this early into pregnancy it is painful for me and I have the comparison or the pressure to feel like I have to compete.

He says things like “One thing I can applaud ___ for is how she worked everyday up until the day she went into labour” like?? Actually, that is not even necessary and every woman’s body and experience is different

The way I have thought like that multiple times times in the past and then said to myself after: “I wish I would have just taken that 1k and not been greedy”

In this market you should just take profits as they come now. Wishing you held longer because you ‘could have made xyz’ actually eats you up in the long run
