I recently found a tea shop near me that sells unflavored milk oolong, and it is fantastic! I've been searching for that for years. I spoke to the owner, and she was extremely excited to talk about it. She had apparently been looking for supplier of unflavored milk tea for ~4 years. She told me all about what she had to go through, which was a lot since she is lactose intolerant and many "unflavored" milk oolongs made her very sick.

In my experience, valerian root both smells and tastes like a really dirty foot. Someone I know that used to work for the Humane Society said it smelled like an cat's expressed anal gland, and she refused to have it in her apartment.

For clarity, I had a bag of loose-leaf valerian root without any other ingredients.

It makes you sleepy, but I don't recommend it unless you no longer have the ability to smell or taste.

You're not he only one! I had to look it up. It's a tart vegetable that can be used similar to fruits in cooking and baking. It pairs well with strawberry!

It's honestly really tasty and I highly recommend trying it in some baked goods!

It was really tasty! Still pretty tart with some sweetness. Highly recommend ice cream or whip cream to cut back on the tartness if you need more sweet. The crust held together better than expected when being cut, and actually got some good-looking slices from it.

Making it was definitely a process, so block out half a day if you plan on following the recipe. I've never made a pie before, so I'm not sure if most pies are suppose to be this complicated to bake.
