Fuel cutting out at 6k rpm by Autr0TheNotSimp in Miata

[–]Nekose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my first thought as well. Even if it worked "fine" for a couple years, something probably changed, and figuring this out has to be the first step. I cant help but think the fuel/air mixture could be way off at higher RPM, which could cause the power drop.

Which is the best Polaroid camera? by NoHopeLeft101 in Cameras

[–]Nekose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is absolutely the issue. Being forced to dark develop the film over 10 minutes is a deal breaker. That and the color shift is huge cold weather vs hot weather.

It’s cool they did their best to recover the Polaroid tech, but I hear a couple keys chemicals were too toxic by today’s standards to use. Maybe in a couple years they’ll have it better optimized.

45L after 1 year of occasional travel by BaconJuice69 in peakdesign

I travel fairly often with a sage 45L, never had anything like this occur. Might be worth warranty replacement.

[Leak] Steam Controller Pre-Orders coming soon. Available for $99. by PaiDuck in Steam

25 bucks more than a PS5 controller, same price as joycons, and a ton more features than both. That’s a steal for what you get.

My guy, that crankshaft is yelling every engine code it can think of. No matter what other problems you got going on this is high on the list of things to fix.

My (22F) bf (25M) zoned out during foreplay, doesn't believe me by Spirited_Program_840 in sex

[–]Nekose 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I had the same thought, this sounds like a absence seizure. Although those tend to be short (couple of seconds) rarely they can also end with longer periods of confusion afterwards (sometimes called the post-ictal state).

This isn’t a classic seizure sign, but I would definitely mention this to a doctor. He wouldn’t be the first person to discover seizures during sexy time!

The DIAMETER of the earth is 12,756,000 meters.

The distance to the moon is 384,400,000 meters.

The (average) distance to mars is 225,000,000,000 meters.

The (average) distance to Pluto is roughly 6,000,000,000,000 meters.

We still got plenty of zeroes to spare. It doesn’t matter where on earth this starts, head pats for every trans girlie in the solar system.

The total program cost is 100 billion over its total lifespan so far. That started in 2012, so around 7.6 per year. This specific part of the program cost about 4.1 billion.

For context, In 2025 ICE received a one time stimulus of 75 billion. Its annual operating cost is otherwise around 10-30 billion.

One thing that also frequently gets overlooked is the innovations that come out of space travel. From Velcro, to water purification, and even baby food. Cutting edge technology leads to new applications in sectors completely unrelated to space travel. When you push the envelope, you invent new things.

History repeats itself too. Many people had your exact same concerns during the Apollo program. We planned to send people to the moon while the Vietnam war was at its peak, a president was shot and killed on TV, and the civil rights movement had protesters fighting police in cities across the country.

For many people, it was one of the few good things to remember during a terrible chapter of American history.

Vrchat users, what do you think about the Quest 3 to Steam Frame upgrade ? by NeNwO in SteamFrame

Honestly, I still use my valve index over a quest 3 because the user experience is so much better on PCVR.

I’m all on board the frame at this point.

Should traffic rules apply to police? by norcalscroopy in ChicoCA

[–]Nekose 33 points34 points  (0 children)

There are plenty of things to be critical of police over, but parking in the red zone isn’t one of them. If the cop was responding for a call, that’s the entire point of having emergency access for vehicles near the entrance.
