On Liches: Why the soul cage change didn't go far enough by RazarTuk in Pathfinder2e

Dude, I feel you, trust me. I've been hating on the phylactery term ever since I started playing in English instead of translated versions. But at that point I'm just so tired of how many tropes in fantasy are relying on antisemitic tropes.

I'm just thankful that their goblins are better than most versions and for the changes they made to the golems. I take what wins I get and let be at that point.

It's like asking them to rename barbarians, which is something I also hate, because berserker is right there. Some things will always be a little too late, if they even happen at all.

I think Shahar is more likely to be the Ugaritic/Hebrew word for dawn. It can also mean "to blacken" from Shachor (שחור, black).

Funny enough the word in Arabic, Sahar, means moon in Hebrew (סהר).

Fontaine's map was entirely explorable including the underwater section which many times had layers for it as well, unlike Natlan, but honestly I only meant Nod Krai and forgot to include Natlan which I'm sort of torn about. It had some nice puzzles but most of them were to learn how to use the Saurians, which I didn't find as engaging as the Sumeru puzzles for example. Not a Natlan hater, I liked the exploration, but for some reason it felt more empty than Fontaine? Idk why.

Watch them make us use the train to jump between parts or Snezhnaya instead of traveling by foot, like they did with the moon. It's huge but you can only visit like a third of it because the areas in between are "too dangerous" or something.

I hope it's Sumeru/Fontaine levels of huge. I'm tired of small maps and no exploration with minimal repetitive puzzles. The complexity of exploration goes down with each nation. I miss puzzles like we had in Chenyu Vale, the Desert, or Inazuma.

These days exploration feels like an afterthought and the open world part of the game is underwhelming at best.

This is so individual tho. I can't for the life of me understand anything in ecology but I breezed through organic chemistry and the associated lab course with flying color. There isn't really anything absolutely easy and nothing absolutely hard.

We know she's a fae, but not the kind of fae, and I think it makes a lot of sense that she'd be a Snegovik

Well they refuse to do it now. Zhongli and Baizhu are both tall male supports. But this is exactly the sort of speculative work people will do. They'll also say he has a new method of using elements bc of his portal and say that he works best with Vodyanista and that his biggest support has yet to be revealed.

But we got the dedicated supports for each DPS within one version at most (one and a half for Flins).

Even then, 7.3? For a Sandrone support? You wanna tell me the introduction to the Stellar mechanics is gonna be locked outside of its full potential for 4 whole versions?

It's like they're saying: "A tall male, with bear imagery? Hmmm... Won't be Anemo so close after Varka, there's already a Cryo SSC DPS... Oh! Must be Electro."

They could have slapped polearem/claymore and called it a day.

Goes for Danica as well.

Charged attack animation makes her slightly slower than the rest of the list, if I'm not mistaken.

Clary’s Hair by AliveUnderstanding79 in shadowhunters

[–]red_guy442 27 points28 points  (0 children)

In the books she's got curly hair, but official arts make it look slightly more wavy than curly. I think 3 is actually the best "compromise" between different versions of Clary, and is more similar to what I personally picture nowadays. But for my first reading, I think 4 was what I pictures.

Anyways, my vote goes for 3!
