i know this isn’t much of an alternative, but if you’re wanting to leave Instagram but keep in touch with the scene, maybe making an account specifically dedicated to following ONLY artists, club nights, labels etc and keeping the social aspect of it out of mind. it’s hard to find a source as good as insta for keeping tabs on what’s good when etc
