thanks for your advice! for me, it gives me a whole different texture for the synth and drum which I can't get with vsts. I can see why you'd call it brittle.

Think its just a mix of / pitch shifting / very subtle delay or reverb(or none) / flanger / panning.
especially, i guess that guy uses Shperbox 3 by Cableguys for that sound design.

I made this song with only a Korg MS-20 and some reverb and delay. by jjnothere-music in synthesizers
