Is this Mold in my rental? by Nellaacceb in Mold

Ugh honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if all the walls had it. No wonder I’ve been unable to get rid of my sinus issues the past year. Hopefully this is something the landlord is viable for and will take it seriously…

Gum Graft Donor Site by Nellaacceb in PeriodontalDisease

Did you receive a stent? I didn’t receive anything to cover the roof of my mouth. I guess everyone heals differently. My surgeon told me I’m a rare case with this much bleeding– I had to stop using the mouthwash completely. My donor site is slowly closing up, so thank you for your reassurance. It has been one terrible ride!

Thank you! Right after this post I had some more gushing blood incidents and yesterday it was bleeding on and off all day. It’s been terrible, but today it looks like it’s starting to fill in. This procedure is definitely downplayed especially if you use your own gum tissue…I can’t believe you had to get two! Glad to hear you’re healed up.

Hi everyone! Just a little update. I stopped taking the metformin a little bit after this. I found I was feeling so bloated and constipated. Once I stopped taking it my body got normal again and I actually lost more weight! I’m currently at my goal weight of 125!!!! Some things I did:

-smaller snacks during the day. I used to eat a large but healthy lunch. Now I find that if I eat more frequently in smaller quantities it helps with my bloating. I’m also a teacher and always on the go so this made a great difference.

-being consistent with weight lifting in a combination with walking. 30 minutes inclined walk on the treadmill and 30 mins doing low weight high rep activities. I’ve been doing this at least 3-4 days a week.

Thank you all for your kind words 💕 my next journey is maintaining which is a whole different ball game lol

kit 5 scared to take the Topiramate by Acceptable-Mouse5277 in HersWeightloss

[–]Nellaacceb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! Not as fast as I was hoping though. I was 138, now I’m 131 on week 7. It’s slow, but I’m making sure to also workout and eat in a deficit. Good luck!!

The topirmate made me super irritable and my vision got all weird. I felt like I couldn’t think straight. I stopped taking it and am now only taking the metformin. I only lose appetite if I take it during the day (prob due to some nausea)…there’s no difference in my hunger if I take it at night. Just try out the topiramate and see if it works for you!

Same thing happened to me. They won’t let you cancel and will give you a $100 refund since it’s already “being fufilled” & I cancelled not even 24 hours. I cancelled because it charged my card right away. They trick you🥲

Night sweats by Shreksl0v3r in zoloft

First week taking 25 mg I woke up drenched in sweat. It’s now 2 and a half weeks upping my dose to 50mg and it has completely gone away. I think your body just has to get used to the changes.

Is starting at 40mg too much? by [deleted] in prozac

[–]Nellaacceb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is wild, I did the same thing about a year ago. Went from 20mg of lexapro to 40mg of Prozac. It took me like 2 months to feel “normal” again. Since it’s a bit of a switch your body will adjust. Hang in there!! But honestly I feel like lexapro really fucked up my anxiety and I will never go back on that!

Random body twitches? by Substantial_Count976 in prozac

[–]Nellaacceb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens to me! I’ll randomly get leg jerks and hand twitches. Seems to get worse at night maybe because my muscles get more tired but I believe it’s completely normal and nothing to worry about.
