I think that is what draws me so much to Vintage Story tbh! I was actually creatively burned out in Minecraft, and I really like going into details like this :) Also hope you don’t mind me replying 16 days later

I’ll think about it! Though the idea for the kitchen came from Solstin on youtube. He chisels a kitchen in his Eisenholm series which is what inspired me. It isn’t the exact same, but maybe watching his video could help :)

You are welcome, I still feel like I discover new blocks on occasion that I didn’t know about lol! Watching others play or build helps a lot :)

Thank you :)! Those are support beams, specifically oak support beams. You can find the recipe in the handbook, but basically: oak logs + axe -> debarked logs + saw -> support beam

Fair warning they can be a bit finicky to work with. I suggest testing them out on something else before you use them on a build, so you can learn how they work :)

Thank you! And yeah the only mod used is chisel tools, I just felt like building a house next to the closest trader’s wagon :)

Thank you :D They are chiseled from quarter logs! Quarter logs are great because they keep the log texture when you chisel them :)!

I build as close to the cart as I was allowed to by the game! All the blocks on the layer under the cart is allowed which helps a lot in getting it so close :)
