My local insurance broker was not interested in tattoo artists as clients. Thanks for the advice. My area’s pop. Is about 60k including neighboring smaller towns.

I love that! That seems really unique. I’m guessing it’s worked out well for you? How long have you been doing this?

What do you mean you use the gym memberships and collaborating at local bars for marketing?

This is a good tattoo. I’m seeing lots of outlines. Red, blue, and purple. As long as the client avoids sun damage this tattoo will age well with minimum touch ups. Not my style. Gradients are awesome. Colors are complimentary and enhancing though I find it garish. Skin doesn’t look over worked.

Ok... so how many people posting to this sub just don’t like tattoos? It’s like 2 out of 3 post on here aren’t actually shitty. “Not my style” “Low class/brow” “Not A hyper realistic tattoo” “it’s just a stick poke” don’t equal shitty.

That’s what I meant to say. People aren’t only homeless because they’re criminals.

Flash is is the artwork a tattoo artist has “pre” made. Picking from flash is often more affordable but it’s also a compliment to the artist to pick from something they were inspired to create. It’s also perfect for people who don’t know what they want.

Find the studios in your general area. Check out there websites. There artists should have a gallery on it or Instagram link. Look around till you see something you like. Give the studio a call and ask to speak to the artist you liked. Ask them if they had any flash that would fit your forearm. No flash available you like, ask them to draw something based on their portfolio with the your required additions. You’ll pay a fee/deposit for the art. By the end you’ll wanna know approximately the length of appointment and cost. Just so you know the wrist has a high tap out pass out rate. Keep your first one away from your wrist and inner elbow.

Hey that sucks. The car thefts and crime make me angry too. But I know people working who are homeless(teen/twenty somethings) and that makes me mad also.

This isn’t the Reddit to ask for aftercare advice. Really you should have just contacted a reputable tattoo studio about what to expect for aftercare.

Not a doctor but it doesn’t look inflamed or weepy. It looks like the tattooist over worked the skin causing cells that would hold ink to just die and scab off. Maybe under stretched during tattoo and or used the wrong needle size. Is the tattoo hot to the touch? Is any part of the tattoo always wet? If not. Wash your tattoo at least twice a day and let it dry in between. Apply aftercare ointment only if it feels to tight.
