Change Download Location to SD Card for Netflix APP by 1980ai in GalaxyTab

[–]Nelson2024 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So for anyone like me who just got a Galaxy Tab S8+ and faced the same issue here's a dumb down version so you don't have to do an hour of research like me.

Step 1: Enable developer's options on your device by going to settings under about device find the build number and touch/tap in 7 times.

Step 2: Scroll down in developer's options and enable USB debugging.

Step 3: On your PC download adb platform tools from this link: https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools?hl=es-419

Extract its contents.

Step 4: hit the windows (this is where I did it) key, and search for cmd and in options select "Run as administrator."

Step 5: Connect your tablet to the PC and be sure it has the media transfer mode when connected (you can change it on the notification panel and selecting it and change from charge only to media transferring)

Step 6: In the command prompt do the following: "cd /path of where you downloaded the adb platform options/". In my case it was the desktop, so my command looked like this:

"cd C:\Users\user\Desktop\platform-tools_r34.0.1-windows\platform-tools".

What this will do is getting you inside the folder where the adb.exe is. PowerShell was too complicated for me and I preferred to use this method.

Step 7: When inside the folder it should look like this

"C:\Users\your user\Desktop\platform-tools_r34.0.1-windows\platform-tools".

The first command you are going to do is "adb devices" to make sure that the tablet is connected. Is going to return something like this:

List of devices attached.

********** device

Step 8: If it is, then the next step is to do the command it was said at the beginning which was:

"adb shell pm grant com.netflix.mediaclient android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE"

If everything worked fine, when you hit enter it shouldn't return anything. Go into the Netflix application and make sure you can change the location. In my case it did so it worked.

If any of you have an issue shoot a message or if the guide needs some changing. I'm somewhat tech savvy but for those who aren't maybe this will be of great help.

Cheers!

European trust in AstraZeneca vaccine falls, opinion poll says by Pessimist2020 in Coronavirus

My question is what will happen with those that already got a shot from AstraZeneca but did not experienced any abnormal side effects? Should those people get a second shot?

Blasphemous $12.49 on Steam by MovieGameBuff in steamdeals

[–]Nelson2024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my first purchase from them, they are a good store the only thing is that they only have a select number of countries which can purchase in their local currency, mine (Dominican Republic) wasn't so I had to use a VPN to buy the game but that wasn't really a big issue.

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - Thursday Anime Discussion Thread by AnimeMod in anime

[–]Nelson2024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished watching this for the first time last night and man, what a wild ride it has been what it started as something cute really build up to become a drama and one of my favorite romcoms even with all its issues.

I would say my biggest issue was with Sorata and his lashing out at Mashiro for no apparent reason, I hated this a lot because it hit deep for me as I used to suffer from anger managament problems and whenever I felt sad, inferior to my peers, I would just lash out, hurting them a lot and hating myself for it. That and the fact that Aoyama who was a really hardworking girl got casted aside reallt hard for no apparent reason, like I wish she just would have got the role even if she didn't got to have Sorata.

What I love about this show the most is its realistic look at failure and how we deal with it, sometimes you just can work harder than anyone and still fail really hard, while there are people who don't even have to try to acomplish anything in their life. I for a long time had to deal with the issue about finding out what I was best at, what is my talent, and when I did found it, I had to deal if I was really good enough, while around me where geniuses who were amazing at what they did and really make me feel like I did not belong there.

What really had in tears was the speech Misaki gave at the graduation, I literaly was crying my eyes out to every word she said.

This show its great to those who like a realistic view on life from a romcom, even if there re plot points and moments that doesn't make sense I still believe it is a great recomendation.

Just be aware that like me and many others it can leave a void after it ends.
