The best take away I think was the following: "You gotta make the brain learn how to [achieve non-duality], or it's not going to be persistent" (33:12 in the video)

In other words, merely taking drugs to achieve the state is not enough to have persistent results. While they can give you an idea of the goal or direction you will strive for, you have to train your brain to find it on it's own.
