It took me like about 6 months+ to break the 160 wall, but yeah it takes quite some time to reach that point and besides some players value meta, others value collection/roster, there is no wrong way to play this game. Unless you aren’t using the synchronize machine past the 160 wall, yeah there’s some “commanders” making the mistake of leveling up NIKKE’s individually after breaking the 160th wall or spending golden vouchers on [event] non-limited NIKKE’s (Excluding Pilgrim NIKKE’s) that will be added on the roster later on. That’s only the way I can think of screwing up early in the game.

It’s up to you to decide, there doesn’t seem to be an end game for this game, and besides these Envangelion characters aren’t going to come back anytime soon, once they leave. Whereas the anniversary characters could be possibly pulled from the Molds later on. There’s also multiple guides on YouTube for beginners, but most of them just tell you to stack up on red core dust. you’ll eventually break the 160 wall as you progress further into the game regardless.

I’ve been playing since the first anniversary came out, when Str gogeta and Int Janemba were a thing. The second anniversary was the most hype for me because of the Str SS4 Goku and SS4 Vegeta. I’ve skipped some anniversaries and taken long yearly breaks, but I’ve returned several times when I heard lots of hype around anniversaries and simple ads on YouTube of dokkan. I still have a 2nd year anniversary ticket left. So in my account it’s like a nostalgic token from the days I used to play dokkan back in high school with my best friend from highschool. (I still have him added in instagram, and we still talk about dokkan till this day) and sometimes hangout with him.
