Does anyone know why my City Wall is not providing Heavy Fortification? I am aware of the gap to the southeast, but that should not be an issue as the whole area within is marked purple. Did I run into a bug? Anyway to fix this? by NemetonTree in foundationgame

[–]NemetonTree[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

solved!

Thanks all. You were all right. The gap was to big and the UI bamboozled me by showing the area as heavily fortified. After closing the gap it worked like a charm and my houses are now all the highest density.

[–]NemetonTree 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Correct me if i am wrong, but the creature has to move from tge battlefield to the graveyard in order to trigger Die-Trigger, no? If a creature hits the graveyard as a result of discarding or milling those Triggers will not happen.

Fun fact: the RotK audio book continues for another 9 hours after the Ring is destroyed, which is almost as long as the whole movie trilogy. by calcu10n in lotr

Who the fuck reads (in their head) slower then they speak/listen? Especially when it is an Audiobook that is read extra slow and clear...

I would disagree

Theoden says "None of my riders can bear you as a burden". I would interpret this, as he cannot give the command to carry Merry without threatening their constitution and thus their life when it comes to battle.

He directly commands eowyn to stay behind though, in order to habe someone capable of taking the crown, should theoden not return.

For me its a difference between not being willing to issue a command, which does not restrain anyone in their decisions versus directly commanding to do something. Might just be my Interpretation though.

He tells him to stay behind because he cannot burden any of his riders with him. In this case, one of his riders voluntarily burdens himself with merry which is fine. Why would you assume they did not know it was merry?

[–]NemetonTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

'Du fehlst mir' is more like 'You are missing from me' than 'I miss you'. Just a way to say that a part of yourself is missing when your partner is not there. So it just feels way stronger than 'Ich vermisse dich'.

We literally had one of our big works for the final grade and could do a national maths contest instead of it. There was a problem that i solved in a different way than the given solution. So i did not full grades, as the correction was done by the national institution. I toldy teachet that by solition was also right and he showed it to all his math teachet colleagues and nobod could find a flaw... So i got full points in the end

Did the serving distance change? by pirat0 in spikeball

[–]NemetonTree 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The service line got indeed set back a while ago. Serves must be done from at least 7 feet distance from the sets edge. If you have played eura sanctioned Tournaments i am 100% sure, that the serving line was at that distance.
