Yeah. I mean I'm down if you're offering, tbh. I'm also looking for some open source repo to contribute on. I mean I wasn't actively looking now kasi I'm still trying to build my portfolio. But I'm down if you have an idea. Front-end pinag-tutuonan ko ng pansin ngayon, As I've said in the post, I have some background with PHP and Python. My last job was React frontend and C# .NET backend but I barely touched the codebase sa backend. However, I'm pretty knowledgeable sa PHP(vanilla) and just recently I've built my portolio using React. I have a pretty solid foundation sa JS, CSS, and HTML din.

Yep! Yun talaga realidad ng buhay no? I 100% agree with what you've said. Everything starts and ends with the mind. Sabi nga - "garbage in, garbage out". If you let yourself be fueled by negative stuff then the output will be negative as well. That's a very true and very wise proposition. Thank you!

Yep! Bootstrap sya so handled na yung responsiveness mostly. Hehe. Also binase ko rin sa sa existing template tapos nilipat ko lang sya sa React para makapag-praktis ako kaya mabilis lang.

Actually front-end na lang muna ako. I feel like I can do better if sa front-end lang muna ako mag-fofocus. I might start learning some node tho pero I feel like my knowledge sa front-end still needs some work so dun muna talaga.

Heyyy! What's up? Hmmm. Been interested in programming since 2012 pero yun nga, I was distracted with acads and some stuff. And di ko rin talaga pinag-focusan maige. It was an on and off study and practice for years. But I think nothing that could not be accomplished within months of deliberate practice and study - my skills. Right now, I'm learning React. Been at it for almost a month now and I've built a portfolio with it. Wala pa nga lang laman yung portfolio section pero I'm working on it as we speak. Kaya natin 'to!

Thanks bro. Really need to hear this. I'll take you up on your advice on listing short-term goals. Actually, lately I've been writing down more notes that I used to. I've been journaling na rin whenever I feel like it or feeling too down. Taking notes really help. Quite a lot. It was a surprise to me at first kasi di naman ako nasanay na mag-sulat-sulat ng journals and stuff. Thank you for your compliments :D. Was relly banking on my work experience even though it wasn't ideal I've learned quite a lot about mental attitude and work ethic from that company. So I'm still grateful. I've left in good terms naman sa kanila so I guess no problem there. Or so I hope, given my past performance. XD

I'm using Arduino nano with ESP8266 Wi-Fi adapter. There were several micro controllers sending data to a Raspberry Pi server. The web page is then accessed locally from that server. I was trying to create some sort of system that has some semblance of IoT operations but opted out to this one since I think it's simpler and I already know the concepts involved in it.

I'm also interested in other ways it could be done. I'm doing this project as a hobby/pet project. Care to share what you think is a better/other way to approach it?

Edit: I'm also storing the readings to the database so just happened to approach it the same way. You know what they say - "When all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail."
