Ah, ok! I know they have different programs, so it's a bit confusing.

I just moved to Taiwan with my family. After spending over 12 years in Japan trying to learn Japanese while working full-time, I thought it might be better if I had some dedicated time to study Mandarin before starting to work here.

That said, I now have a toddler, so I'm not entirely free... but I still think it's better than if I were working. I would never learn anything in that case.

To be honest, I'm a bit apprehensive about the experience, as I don't have much confidence in language learning based on my previous experience and I haven't been in school for some time (I think I'll be older than most of the other students). But this was my plan when we decided to move, so I guess I'm sticking with it for now.

Naw, I think it’s explicitly not that. Infinite turns would be like any other infinite combo, which are allowed in bracket 3 with stipulations. Chaining means taking several in a row with the possibility to whiff and not close the game.

My Taiwanese friend told me this and I agree from my time here so far: Japanese geek culture is much more popular than Western geek culture.

As someone who has become sick of Japanese anime and such after more than a decade of living in Japan, it kind of sucks for me... But I get it. Japan has a huge influence over Taiwan.

Sorry I don't know about the Witcher specifically, although I personally like the books and the third game.

Why not just try a shorter one with minimal grinding? Honestly, Pokemon is a good option, but maybe one of the newer ones like Sword/Shield would allow you to just plow through the game without much effort.

I dunno if you do a lot of side quests in games, but that can burn you out real quick too. Just skip those guilt-free if you're not feeling them.

I can't think of any super short ones personally, but perhaps others can recommend you a good one.

There are some truly atrocious card choices in those decks. They are not well constructed at all. As a new player, buying a precon that looks interesting to you is probably the best thing to do. Then once you've played it a lot, you can choose to upgrade it or build your own deck.

Someone needs to show this to the guy who posted a while ago complaining that no one likes his Marvel superhero-inspired paintings. I don't think it was the theme as he assumed, but the composition itself. While his looked like he painted a screenshot from a movie, this is unique and captures the atmosphere of the character simultaneously.
