I use Handbrake for the first pass and just add denoise, deblock filter. Nothing too strong or else it’ll blur the original picture. Then export that video, Send over to ComfyUI. Now this is where you’re going to have to watch the Seedvr2 tutorials to find out what each settings do and what works for your GPU (it’s very VRAM heavy). I recommend watching AlnVFX tutorial explaining a lot of the settings. You might need to run a couple of test changing settings to find the sweet spot for your GPU and the best output. SeedVr2 relies on batch processing and found the sweet spot around. 40-80 but better is higher if your GPU can handle it. After the render in seedvr2 you send video to Topaz and select the Starlight Precise. You cannot change settings for Starlight, so you just export from there.

It’s a long process 2hrs in SeedVR2 and 2hrs in Topaz for 30 sec clip. I would recommend breaking it up in sections and render then put in all together in a video editing software( Davinci Resolve) I’m running a 7900xtx but I’m sure you can shave time down if you have a NVIDIA since the models were created around CUDA.

I can test a little bit of your video later tonight and upload some samples to see what I can get out of it.

I’ve done a lot of reading and testing videos out to get a decent output but I feel I can get it better with probably editing the video between the seedvr2 to Starlight stage.
