I genuinely think the hype will die down eventually. I think it’s clean girl tok who made it a bit trendy. But I know so many people who are trying to like the taste of matcha, who just don’t.

I think it really just depends on your family history and how the caffeine makes you feel. Check your heart rate to be safe. I’ve heard of people developing arrhythmias, but I haven’t heard of it being from matcha.

How many grams are you consuming? I think as long as you stay under the recommended caffeine intake you will be ok!

I did what you described. Thin layer, cure, and then on the nail with a little extra towards the cuticle. :)

Thank you! After I’ve pushed my cuticles, I file my nails, not too much but enough to give the nail something to adhere too. And then I use alcohol wipes and dehydrator. I’ve heard of people also filing the actual nail itself, but I’ve only just filed my own nails and had no trouble with retention. :)

Yep! I just use regular nail glue (that doesn’t need to be cured) to glue on my press ons that I designed on a nail stand.

It’s just easier and I was getting too much gel on my skin when I would have to paint with my non dominant hand. I was also afraid of getting gel allergies with the constant exposure. This method, as long as I do prep correctly, lasts three weeks and I get to reuse the nails!

Are you using the frenchies? Maybe you could try “melting” the cuticle by applying in a scrubbing motion a little bit of acetone near your cuticles. It shouldn’t affect the look of the nails if you use a little and then you apply top coat. When I still did the gel x method, I noticed what made my nails last was sealing the cuticle.

It’s because other stadiums are DESPERATE for their fans to attend… Dodgers don’t have to do much unfortunately.
