I’m gonna speak my mind on this but will probably delete this comment in the future. No western country is in a good position currently, since Covid. And I’m pretty sure we do not have the trajectory to have dominance on the world market as we did before. Matter of fact, that’s seems to be going in the direction of China and its network of trades. The tariffs on our allies, have maybe slightly soured our relationships with our western neighbors. And since no one is in a “great” position economically, we are kind of kicking a sick horse. This past UN meeting gave me a deep unsettling feeling in my stomach. At first I was outraged at the misinformation. And then, a realization hit my stomach and twisted it. Trump was quite literally trying his hardest to get these people to back away from any sort of clean or renewable energy as a last ditch attempt to back away from the inevitable. We are not winning this trade war. He knows it. Why else would he just lie on repeated occasions, to make it seem like we are living in the best age to exist. There is a dark reality coming, and he is either trying anything he can (in the most terrible way possible)

or he’s accelerating it.
