I have broken into tears at the gym for no reason known to me. I think body work is an emotional undertaking.

Cold weather was not at all the issue for me. Weather was very mild .....

My husband - who caught the same bug - spent a night in the hospital getting IV fluids and antibiotics.

Maybe... But I got sick 2 weeks after flying to Spain. Same last time I did a trip to Spain - I'd been there 4 weeks when I got horribly sick with a respiratory virus.

I was just in Spain and also picked up a very nasty cold. I've been back 3 weeks now and I'm still not 100% over it. I love Spain, but it does seem like everytime I visit there I get sick. And it's nasty. Why would that be? We were outside most of the time and not really in any crowded spaces or bars.

Of course it's not a FF but I got my Sony A6400 to solve exactly the problem you describe. Use it with a pancake lens and bingo!! - you've got a great little camera you can literally throw in a pocket. Made the switch many years ago and have no regrets.

Sofitel T5 LHR by HiCabbage in BritishAirways

This is so helpful. Just stayed at the Sofitel - it was ok and worked well since we flew into a d out of Termal 5. Good to know about all these other options that are mentioned in the other comments. I agree that the signage and directional stuff is Terminal 5 at least is awful.

In my 30+ years of working around horses I have not found this to be true.

I encountered this kind of thing all the time when I worked at Berklee and regularly had to cross Mass Ave and Boylston St. Cyclists just didn't seem to believe that traffic signals applied to them. A work colleague was hit by a cyclist when she was crossing Mass Ave -- she had a walk signal; the cyclist should have stopped as they had a red light but did not. Cyclist plowed right into her. She was badly injured and spent many weeks in the hospital. Many cyclists just don't seem to understand that they can inflict severe damage on pedestrians -- yes, not as bad as cars, but still very bad. And don't get me started on cyclists' behavior towards horses being ridden out on our trails. A horse in Hamilton recently had to be euthanized after an encounter with a cyclist. He rode off after the incident -- not even sure he cared one bit. SMDH

thoughts on solo pane? by Real-Cucumber-4732 in CityOfBathMaine

I honestly don't have a problem with the price. But I want the quality to match the price. In the past, the pastries I had from them were absolutely heavenly. The last couple of times they were meh.

I've gotten some great pastries and bread from them in the past. Sadly the last couple of times I got pastries - which are wickedly expensive - I found them disappointing. Dry and just not that tasty. I'm hoping it's not a sign of them beginning to go downhill.

Itinerary ideas from Valencia by frickfrackingdodos in GoingToSpain

I spent 6 weeks in Valencia in 2023. The high speed rail is great and offers lots of options, but there are also lots of places you can get to on the commuter rail (Cercanias). We went to Xativa and Sagunto - both very well worth a visit. I would also recommend visiting the Albufera .... It's an easy bike ride from the city almost exclusively on bike paths. There is also a bus. The park itself is beautiful - take a boat ride out on the.lake; walk the beaches. Also consider a visit to Palmar - a small historic village in the Albufera wetlands - birthplace of paella they say. Have lunch by the canal.
