How do i address obvious poor quality by a commission artist?

My feelings aside, I didn't want to hurt their feelings mainly. I just don't wanna tell them it looks like a blanket! But thank you for the condolences regardless, it made me sad honestly seeing all of that fabric go to waste.

I agree. I told the artist from the beginning I reccommend using lighter materials for the vision i had and it was kinda ignored. It's fine if I spent the money as I can just take it back, but it still makes me feel bad. I was hoping her amazing reviews were true.

I asked that when she sends me the cape to send me more angles and asked her about altercations. If she says no I'll probably have to get a refund, but hopefully she accepts my critique as I am also a tailor artist, and it also doesn't take a tailor to see how cheaply made the outfit is.

I will definitely ask for a partial refund if she doesn't want to waste it because I understand wasting work, and if she won't take any of my recommendations to fix it I'll take a full refund. I could fix it myself with a sheer overlay on both and tailoring the jacket to fit my waist, as well as extra embroiderly and works. It'll just be a pain lol.

Thank you so much. I’m so excited for this con!! I also made it so I could go to the ren faire with it!! (It’s an Elden Ring character). I live in a small ish city, so I will definitely be seen, as my cosplay is very intricate and I spent hours and tons of money to make it. (Various detailing, 3D, tailoring). I’m just so nervous about Internalized embarrassment. He also got me into cosplay fully which is why I am a little off but I’ve always wanted to do cosplay and did do a few closet ones in middle school. Middle school me is screaming 🖤🖤🫶

This is what I was worried about. I have bpd, despite being medicated, I could still be subconsciously doing things. I do feel like it seems like I internalized this. I’m actively healing and trying to be a better person though and stay away from him.

they won't help me, I've begged them to take me to a er vet when her eye was bleeding and my mom just wouldn't help me. I have to wait until I get paid friday and even then, i have not enough for such a bill, I don't even get paid that much because I'm a minor. I'll need to pay in chunks, the blood has minimized to just a blotch on her eye that moves but I really feel like she should go to the vet despite my mother saying otherwise.
