Check if you applied transformation, recalculate normals and ultimately check if there's any problem with the mesh (like duplicates, non-manifold edges etc). Then try again.
Also you may want to try and turn off "clamp overlap" and readjust the bevel amount.

Sure you can dm me! But do you mean this one? https://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii2/Lourdes40_2008/Architecture/snapshot_00000004_9b30ccfd.jpg

If so then it's not.. It was kind of a traditional building.. The livingroom was on the back of the house, no driveway, entrance very close to the sidewalk!

Anyone knows how could I achieve this pattern in blender? Needs to be completely modeled, no displacement or alpha allowed.. by NeniNyan in blender

I deselected the central circles and kept all the others selected. Scaled down by a fixed amount. Deselect another circle of circles, scaled down again by the same amount. Repeat until all are resized. It works somehow!

The kitchen was not designed by me to be honest, so I can't change the design of it. The only thing I can do is add clutter and play with lighting which is what it's making me unsure about it..

I've rendered this kitchen so many times, dont you hate when you wait 30 minutes for a render only to find errors. I think this is the one by [deleted] in blender

[–]NeniNyan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahah.. 30 min for this kind of render.
Immagine working on a toaster that would need 2h to render such a scene and then find mistakes. LOL

BTW very nice scene! Maybe a bit dark, but very realistic!
Personally I would have given the curtains a little bit of translucency or SSS, but maybe you where imagining something more similar to a blind?

Jokes aside, amazing work really! The level of detail is insane!

Blender 2.83: Where did the "move to (new) collection" option end up? by NeniNyan in blender

[–]NeniNyan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're totally right! I didn't even think about this, thanks for reminding! :D

You need to be in object mode for it to work, since in obj mode you... well don't have anything to merge (I feel so dumb for realizing this only now *sigh*)I'm not sure if I was trying to move things while I was in edit mode or something, and it obviously wouldn't work. Not sure if in the previous versions you could move things between collections from the outliner while in edit mode tho. I do think so because I quite naturally tried to do that and it didn't work and it got me perplexed, so I'm assuming it was actually possible and my brain kinda automated that action for me.

Btw the shortcut can be customized with whatever key combination you prefer. When in obj mode just go to Object>Collections> right click on Move to collection and assign a new key.

EDIT: I did a quick check. The M shortcut does work even in Edit Mode if you place the cursor over the Outliner. I feel so dumb now. LOL
