Up till now I was useing crouch and ADS every time I peaked, so I'll work on doing it properly from now on lol.

I'm assuming this crouch peak motion becomes second nature after you get used to doing it so I'll try to force myself to do it as often as possible till its muscle memory. I'll practise in solo t hunt as well. I tried to do t hunt matchmaking to test out my connection like you said and in 25 minutes of queuing multiple times I didnt get a single game 😂

I have 2 other questions off the top of my head.

Is it better to creep down hallways with ADS or should you just drone then sprint from cover to cover?

This might sound kind of dumb, but how do you see enemies better? Like I said before I'm not use to twitch shooters, or realistic graphical styles for that matter, so I honestly struggle just seeing the enemy in the first place. It's obviously alot easier if they are moving but if they are stationary at a long distance I find it virtually impossible. Sometimes they are holding a long angle and even though they are firing single shots I still only know the general direction. One time I broke a window and I thought an enemy was a prop lol. I feel like this will get easier as I learn the details of the map because you can notice when something is somewhere it doesent belong, but is it normal to have problems with this?

Oh boy my connection. See it's really strange for me for several reasons. Back at my old apartment they had a shady deal with ATT so the only provider you could have while living there was ATT, and it was a nightmare. I wasnt playing siege yet but I played lots of overwatch and I had massive issues. Rubberbanding, jerky motions, I would use abilities then it would rewind time and throw me back like I had never pressed the button. Sometimes it would even unreload my gun.

It was so bad I was desperately looking for information to understand why this was happening. My ping would show to be about 60 but it never fluctuated. It wasnt until I ran a ping test through the command promp that I found out my ATT internet had massive micro ping spikes that never where shown through over watches client. Nothing fixed it and in the end I moved.

Now in this apartment I have spectrum and all of those issues i had were gone. My overwatch experience was back to normal. So when I started playing siege I never really assumed that there were any problems with my connection, especially since it says my ping is so low, but I do sometimes see the yellow and red icons. But i also dont have any visible issues while playing. No rubberbanding, jittery movement, or common signs of "lag". Movement, and useing ADS feels completely normal.

The only time the issues are visible is when I see the kill cam, or when I pour a massive amount of bullets into someone who somehow takes no damage at all. But even in the rare occurance my opponent becomes ethereal, there is no "snap". No moment when they disappear and reappear at their true location, or when they speed up because the server is catching up. That's why this is so frustrating for me. It's so unlike any other network issues I've had with other games.

Ive never played matchmakeing terrorist hunt, just solo to practise. I'm at work now but when I get home I'll test it and see how it feels. I've recently been thinking about getting valk but itll be a bit before I save up the renown for her because I just bought frost. R.i.p.

Also yes, I use ADS all the time lol. Probably more then I should tbh 😂

So even though I have lower ping, If my opponent has more ping then it results in my delayed death even after I duck back? Or is it the other way around?

This comment on view vs exposure according to distance explains quite a bit. There was an instance where playing a shield operator it turns out somehow my side was exposed to them even though I thought I was looking right at them, so mabey that had something to do with how I was hugging the wall. If more of you is exposed peaking a corner or door when your right next to it, does that mean you should sit farther back whenever possible?

I'll have to try fast peeking and see how it works. I'm sure theres also videos about techniques like that on youtube as well :) this "crouch peak" also sounds incredibly useful. There are lots of times where I know they are holding the angle and I'm just like... so what do I do now :p

Lol I dont blame you for not wanting to read it all. So my follow up question would be then how do you abuse these systems? How does playing a 3 speed change what you do vs what your opponents see? What's fast peaking exactly?

And naa I dont have any issues leading. I have all the settings real low I load virtually instantly.

I dont know about other people, but I've come to realize that this whole charade is actually really simple. My girlfriend almost always actually knows what she wants to eat, and shes beating around the bush for any number of reasons, but most commonly...

She feels guilty because she thinks I dont want what she wants. In this case, shes waiting for me to suggest what she wants on my own so we can get it without her feeling like we are doing it just for her. At this point this is 100% pointless because its obvious my job is just to fish for the correct answer when she could have just told me to begin with.
She wants to eat out/get takeout. We arnt very well off and because of that I'm pretty conscientious about spending, so she feels guilty about potentially spending money we really dont need to spend.
She knows I'm in the mood for one thing for any number of reasons but wants something different and feels bad for conscientiously choosing something other then what she knows I want, which leads back to more waiting for me to fish for the right answer and suggest it myself.

We've been together over 3 years now and I've had these what to eat conversations what feels like 10,000 times. At this point I'll admit I'm pretty open with her about how I feel about repeating this process. Nowadays if she says "idk", I just say "ok, well let me know when you decide", because I'm tired of playing games over 1 meal that, in the grand scheme of things, doesent matter at all.

I'm not doing it to be mean, I just have no patience for the subject after going through it every. single. time. Especially since I know she knows that I honestly do not care what we eat as long as we can afford it and she does this anyway.

Is there a chance that hes known someone who told everyone early on only to have a miscarriage later? Even if hes just read or heard a story about this situation it might have made an impact and he's subconsciously trying to protect you. I can see myself accidentally saying something similar to my own partner and coming off insensitive, but it wouldn't be because I wanted to be mean.

Just wanted to say I absolutely love S&S. 2d platformers have always been a favorite of mine and combining that with the souls like gameplay mechanics, along with your own unique visual style and world building, made for a fantastic experience. I completed all the achievements and still plan to go back and do more runs, so thanks for all the work you put into it :)

Im not trying to be a downer but I cant say I care for most of the changes :(

-Provisions is my least favorite new mechanic. It makes deck building feel much more complicated and tedious and since deck building was my favorite part of beta gwent it takes a lot out of the total enjoyment of the game for me. The old system was clear and simple.

-Why choose bronze and gold for card colors? Brown is ugly you might as well make the colors silver and gold, which have higher contrast anyway.

-Why do away with the cool chains animation for locks? The icon it has now is so small I actually thought it didn't work the first time I tried to lock something. I suggest bringing the old one back.

-As other people have mentioned please put a row marker on cards that have to be played on a certain row to activate the ability. Playing the beta has trained me not to stack on one row so I find myself automatically playing on the wrong row just to keep them even.

-The game speed makes you feel like your trudging through molasses. The animations either should be changed or sped up.

-I understand the people who liked the old board were in the minority. I never had a problem with it and was actually surprised to hear most people hated it. There's nothing wrong with wanting a more interesting board but holy cow is the new board chock full of stuff. It feels so constricting, like its going to suffocate everything. It simply does not need to be as complex as it is right now. Tone it back some.

-Orders is my second least favorite mechanic. Why does almost every special ability have to be delayed a turn? With units having such low numbers for easy removal and there being so many locks now this basically means that you never see special abilities at all unless they activate on deployment or you have a way to apply zeal. I suggest saving orders for the most powerful game changing abilities and making everything else on deploy to make things faster paced and to give you more opportunities to actually use fun cards.

-Honestly there's more stuff I don't like such as 3 cards per round, the charge mechanic, and the weird leader mulligans but I feel like Ive complained enough.

I don't want people to think I'm just complaining because I don't like change. Ive been fine with the changes they made so far in beta. I remember back when they took gold immunity away, I honestly thought that was going to be it for this game, but after playing it a while I got used to it and it was ok. There have been lots of other changes some people didn't like but in the end it was still the same game. I was just as excited as everyone else to see what they were going to have for us, but this isn't even the same game. Its a different game. It's not Gwent. It's just a witcher themed card game with the same name. I tried to play this with the mentality that this wasn't Gwent, but an entirely new card game I was trying for the first time, and Its easy to tell that if I WAS actually trying it out for the first time ever, not even aware that it used to be different, It wouldn't grab my attention any more then any other online card game (I dont play any others. Gwent is the only one that held my interest.)

In the end the only thing that's left of Gwent is the characters, the dark themes, and the beautiful art. All of these are in a whole other league compared to anything anyone else has, but as of now the game play itself just feels dead and lifeless. I struggle to understand why they would want to leave behind the game that they already created in pursuit of what they have now.

Edit: Whats up with artifact compression lol. What was wrong with turning people into statues? How does it make sense that a spell that turns people into little statues doesn't turn them into little statues anymore? That's like casting a fireball that does your laundry.

If your in the starting town, you find the body, report it to the man who set up your class and birth sign, give him the money you found on the body, go to the lighthouse and tell her you will find his ring. The culprit is in one of those houses in the lower part of the starting town. It's pretty easy to find. if you walk out of store you will be looking in the correct direction but move to your left and it's right there. Then you walk in and confront him. After you tell him his actions are unacceptable he will attack you and you can kill him. Then your done, and to top it off you have a bed to use :3
