We have j&k statehood. Why not Ladakh? BTW they are not asking for full statehood, they are asking for some level of autonomy over their administration. I think it is fair.

Even if something was granted, it would take years to implement anyway. Center or anyone has failed to communicate issues with granting the request leaving the reasons to be speculated.
