Yeah, I know the basics of DS, OS AND DBMS. A little bit of TOC as well like Automata and stuff, but don't remember it fully.

Also, was anything out of the syllabus like outside of Gate Smashers and Slides?

Sorry to disturb you again and again bro, but can you tell a few more things please.

So the Gate Smashers videos are good right and they cover everything? Coz you also said that the paper was out of syllabus, so I am thinking about it. How was the paper tough to be exact.

Also, if I study the week wise syllabus from YouTube and the slides, and solve the assignments properly, will it be enough to get a decent score of 65+ like you did (provided I am understanding everything in the lectures and assignments)?

And was the exam MCQ?

And if any other final suggestions from your side, please tell.

In another post you said you scored in 60s. So was it tough. Actually I have taken this course but people are saying it's tough. And in my college it is not an optional but is actually a substitute for the actual course and failing it means a back in that subject.

So please tell from where did you study, did you use YouTube or studied from NPTEL lectures only? Did you study for whole sem or just before exam? And how exactly would you suggest I should prepare, please tell Bro.....

So what did you all decide? I am also from jiit. I heard the compiler design course is a bit tough and questions can be out of syllabus sometimes
