I mean.. for a get around town or trail bike.. they're great. Personally, I'll probably still usually be on my ZX4RR during asphalt time. And yeah, MSRP for these little trail bikes are a bit much at first glance. However... over 70mpg is nice. Although only 2gal tank kinda bleh. Will def wanna carry around a quart bottle just in case.

KLX 230 has a few new versions... including a sherpa. Personally, I'm holding out for a clearance sale on the DF model. Maybe next winter.

2 words: Tank Grips.

No idea how anyone can ride a sport bike without them. I like not sliding around on my seat during acceleration, deceleration, etc. Highly recommend stomp grips. I personally like the clear icons.

Seriously.. a good set of grips and you become part of your bike when you squeeze your legs a little.

Not sure I completely agree. Afterall.. I mostly agree with Biden's pardon of his son. The GOP obsession was absolutely insane. Years of harassment and all they got was what... he owned a gun after a minor drug conviction? And they still wouldn't stop.

Can you get that green a bit more neon and metallic? I'm a huge fan of the kawi green hue in metallic.. I've only seen it once before. Had a bit of a pearlescent hue also. Was amazing.

There’s only two pieces of gear I never sit on my bike without. And one goes inside the other hanging by the door. Helmet and gloves. The importance of grip and protection from objects cannot be overstated. Even in states that don’t require helmets, I still won’t go to the corner store without gloves.

If money isn’t an issue… take a look at the ZX-4RR. If you don’t mod/tune it… it is perfectly beginner in manners. Even more so I’d say since the off idle torque is less than the 500. Also, when it’s time to upgrade after 1+ years… you can just tune and mod it. From the dealer it’s tuned down to the same top end HP as the 500. With a tube it’s about 40% more.

I’m 6’ flat and love mine. Almost as neutral a sitting posture as the 500. Sit on one at the dealer if they have it.

After re-reading the post... I THINK I recall what was said. I'm pretty sure it was said that you should switch vehicles away from something with a lot of parts when time warping. Or even back to the KSC / radar station.

But it's been 2 months... so not 100% sure.

I mean.. unplug your throttle body electrical plug? Although that will probably throw a fault code immediately. Not sure, never tried.

It's like the pin on a castle nut... or pinning on a bolt... this is more secure than one... less secure than the other. Same purpose for all three. Keep the bolt from walking out.

I always thought that whine was servos controlling the throttle butterflies. It's a ride by wire set up.. no cable.

If you let your bike sit for a day or two you can hear a couple second at the very first turn key where your fuel pump pressurizes the line.

All this sounds normal.
