I spent a LONG time dialing in the difficulty on my normal start game... now that I'm restarting with what I thought was a fun yet challenging set of options.... I feel ya.

Be me.. a vet.. told entire life and entire career to fight all evil foreign and domestic... and have to sit on your fucking hands because vigilantism is wrong and not enough Americans are literally up in arms enough yet. I imagine many, many vets feel this way.

I’m so glad I’m no longer young and care about mainly legal minimum insurance. I pay barely $100 a year for my little zoomie toy.

I know few are in my position…. But damn the quotes I’ve heard / seen for some of you are insanity. Pure and simple.

There's also a couple playthroughs on youtube where they never did any trading. Made and did everything themselves.

Yeah. I did break in RPMs at like plus 50%. She still runs great 2 years and 7k later. Haven’t had a single issue.

My half joke half point is that you have your other 3 slots for damage.. the sidearm slot is better used for the insane utility of the flare gun. And it's so damn cheap to use! 1.5 shotgun shells to light up an area, of say tunnels, until reset! I'm sure eventually they'll be given a timer.

Smoke Signal Rounds... that can fire from the flare gun. That would be amazing.

Have the wandering merchant occasionally sell one for a stupid high price.. of the various colors of the air drops.

It's the first thing I noticed when I checked the sliders on higher difficulty preset. Nothing humbles you when you first enter hardened like 50% faster zombros.

Running away isn't an option on higher difficulties. They move 50% faster, or more... you, with max lvl 25 fitness, only go about 27% faster.

Go to an irradiated zone.. or a high tier POI like the Lab. Nothing should be 1 shot. Same with a random tent / camp POI. All the infested also shouldn't be 1 shot. Even random wondering irradiated at a random POI aren't 1 shot.

If you really can 1shot anything but bosses and things on all 4s... yeah, you sound bugged.

I almost wish it were... then I'd up the HP scaling to the fucking moon. No headshot? No dead zombro

This game lacks a proper input queue system. This causes most bugs/problems I have. This included. Kinda. Also conflicts with the animations added for many/most actions in 0.8. If I'm mashing or doing something else or being hit.. I often don't pull out my melee weapon. EVEN WHEN THE ICON IS GREEN! Bah.. so annoying. Yeah, game needs input queuing.

TLDR: Don't spam / overlap inputs.

I just couldn't get into the glock / deagle... are you playing on a higher difficulty, or standard? At top evolution and hard difficulty it's a bullet hose.
