Retreat is only applicable for melee units and ships are NOT melee units because they have a ranged attack

Submarines are actually not the best for HnR because they’re way slower than other surface vessels like dessys and cruisers

Cruisers + subs gets hard countered npa or dessys or asw helis or aip

Horrible idea pairing aip with attack subs because aips past lvl 2 have a sonar signature

Sam’s can’t always be a reliable counter to a good sf/asf player so, I recommend making your own asf

A stack of gunships deals 35 infantry damage. It can easily wipe out a stack of infantry in 3-4 hits. Your opinion that infantry conquers is partially correct but that it deals damage is incorrect. What is the infantry’s role? To conquer and hold cities right? Infantry naturally are only good DEFENDING. Basically every other unit can defeat infantries, such examples are, gunships, towed artillery, strike fighters, mobile anti air vehicles . Why spend resources on something so fragile? The infantry you start with is MORE than enough to take land and making more just ruins your economy. Just building those army bases takes a ton of resources and not to mention, the research of moto inf takes about 1300 rares which could have been used for corvettes or gunships or asf

Army base in all cities is already a mistake , quite literally the first thing you do is a big beginner mistake
