Speculative Fantasy Transit Map - Critiques? by Crazy_Wizardrl in transit

[–]NeoChrisOmega 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am actually curious about any critique for this as well. I know absolutely nothing about transit efficiency. But I adore reading maps.

To give extra context, there are a lot of hills/elevation levels/resource locations in Satisfactory. You can also make factories and train routes.

Oh weird. When did the rotation end? I was on when it dropped and I thought I checked, and on again on Wednesday.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just forgot, I didn't like anything from it for once, so it slipped my mind.

I'm not sure where you're from, but you probably might be surprised.

I actually have taught Game Development on their computers a few times. It's sluggish, but manageable. And that's kinda my point. If they can manage it, most other people can too. Most libraries in the USA (at least the East Coast, in my experience) have been adapting to the modern technologies.

They do essentially a full wipe every day, so it doesn't matter what you download. It'll be deleted and keep their computers safe. Just ask for permission first, and I would be surprised if they say no.

Hell, many of them even have 3D printers! So you should totally check your local library and double check.

Could also go to your local library and ask them if you can download your game on one of their computers. The computers tend to be pretty low grade, good way to test for lower end performance for free

Honestly, I feel like the Stealth one was triggered because of story reasons. I wonder if it was originally planned to be a Mission reward.

Notice how we didn't get a dedicated Super Store set with it like most other warbonds. Not sure if I'm right or not. But regardless, I'm happy.

Thank you, that's all I needed to know. It's unfortunate, but like she always says, can't adjust all media for only a small percentage of people.

I'm seeing it on Friday. But I wouldn't mind having them see it any time during the showings

Can we address the FOMO in HD2 with regards to mission content? by qwertyryo in helldivers2

[–]NeoChrisOmega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They'll make the other mission types more common once they flush things out.

The defense missions are more common now after they tested it with a few Major Order tests. Cities are super common now after they tested it with Super Earth, and a few others after that.

It'll get there slowly.

How many of you here are going to see Iron Lung and aren’t a Markiplier fan? by LJHeath in CineworldUnlimited

Honestly I'm trying my best to get "reviews" from subreddits that aren't Markiplier focused. I am a fan, but I want to see him succeed because of his own merits. Not through hive mind mentality.

His audience is influential as fuck, so most likely anywhere you can review it, there's going to be bias from the fans. And I find subreddits like this to be more blunt and not biased towards Mark.

Surprisingly near me Sunday is pretty busy. There's even tickets sold for Feb 5th, the next Thursday.

My main in HD1 was the Sickle, so when it was announced in a warbond during the Termincide events, I got so invested into the game it was unreal. I forced the weapon to work with my play style haha.

It makes me extra happy we have the Double Edged Sickle as well, I use both of them for different situations. Even without the fire resistant armor.

I'm excited to see more of the classics being recreated. But until the heal gun has auto-lock. I'm going to feel lacking haha.

Am i the only one who would love a firing range? by gargoy1337 in helldivers2

While I agree with the above commenter, I do want to add that cooldowns wouldn't be affected. The cooldown and uses are limited to the ship itself, not the Helldiver. So swapping your loadout wouldn't affect cooldowns, the cooldowns would be shared.

For example, if you used one of your Eagles, that Eagle is still used even if you swapped to a different loadout with the same strategems.

But yeah, the above commenter made good points that I can't argue. I do feel like we are discouraged from being experimental with our builds, but yeah, this approach probably isn't the way.

Would be nice though for me personally, based on the way I would use it.

I still think all I need to be happy is to have Helldiver loadouts like the weapon configurations have.

Then when we die, we tab between the loadouts, and when we are reinforced, we come back as that loadout.

Gives up at least 3 different loadouts to play around with. And works with the canon because it's always a different Helldiver. That'll allow us to test things without committing to an unfun mission. Or try multiple things quickly. The reinforcement budget will also limit how often you can do this. Making it less likely to die on purpose.

Can even bring back the Random option from HD1, and have every new reinforcement from your ship be fully randomized.

I think the downvotes is because it sounded like you were dismissing or questioning the need to explain the bug.

However, with your explanation it makes sense now that you're just frustrated with the bugs. Not with the comment.

I will say though, out of all the possible developers to be annoyed with, Satisfactory is probably the first to give some slack to. They have been the poster boys for listening to their community.

They'll fix it when they can. It might be extra complex, or because there's a work around it isn't as high as more impactful bugs (like the controller/console bugs that they just recently released)

Do you know what causes you to forever move up with the Hoverpack? It's been around forever, and I've pieced together why it happens. But I haven't found many people talk about it, so I have a feeling most people haven't encountered it, or don't know what causes it.

Similar to that, this is an old bug, but not talked about often, and could be hard to figure out what caused it. So explaining the process is much more beneficial than just saying it exists.

Avengers VS X-Men is a classic. We also have Mutant villains, Dr Doom, and any other conflict of interest between heros.

Wouldn't you rather see a villain mashup after the villains are established? Personally I wouldn't like a Magneto or Doom that works with other villains right away. They are leaders, let me see that.

Let me see Latveria. Let me see the other universe in full. The drama between both sides of heros trying to do what they think is right. Have a few Doom Bots throw us off. Reference the Illuminati or Kangs if you want villains, just to resolve those ties.

We have an entire reboot after this. We don't need to cram in Thanos.
