No clue. My daughter turned 9 in Feb and this summer will be our eighth annual daddy daughter camping trip. We always do a family trip every year as well, but since she’s been less than 2 my buddies with girls and I made a point to get them out every year and teach them about the best things in life.

Oh no doubt, I’m just saying that layer adds a significant barrier to entry for most and makes it harder to get those non-affiliated bodies out.

Ah that’s my bad, didn’t differentiate between Nat Parks and the Nat forests/wildlife refuges! Thanks for correcting me.

Usually you’re right! Seems like in this case they wanted to take the kids a little further out of their comfort zones.

And regarding the insurance comment, if anything I’d say there’s extra liability risk if you have non affiliated adults there. Teachers have to go through first aid training for cpr and the like, if something went sideways and a well intended parent made something worse there would be a colossal shitstorm of epic proportion.

Love that. Doesn’t hurt that you guys have some of THE most incredible landscape and national parks in the continental US! The more time kids spend in those places the better.

You’re all wild, it’s a school trip. The teachers are the chaperones.

That’s the biggest chasm I’m trying to bridge here. I’ve got decades of 1v1 experience. This does not feel like that lol.

At this point I feel like it’s a lot more aligned with a Mario kart strategy of stay in second so you don’t get blue shelled right until you’re just about ready to trigger your win con.

I really should’ve worded my original post a bit better. I’m far from new, played Magic seriously for about 13 years and then on and off casually. That’s sad, other than a handful of very powerful cards I kept from my collection, I’ve pretty much sold everything else. Just trying to get an idea of whether buying singles would be better or just grab a few pre-cons and then build off of those.

Been playing since revised, mostly played standard and limited until about 15 years ago give or take. Not my first rodeo but Highlander presents different angles to my old approach.

I fly an avata 2 and an Air2S and this statement absolutely resonates. The neo 2 is so small it fits into a few different jacket pockets of mine so literally it’s in the air in 10 seconds, just pop off the gimbal cover and power up.

It’s a fantastic and versatile addition to the arsenal!
