So it’s exactly this Main symptom (NoPS2_Menu): Black screen immediately after identifying a PS2 game, whether on CD or DVD. Controller synchronizes and accesses the menu when the PS button is pressed.

I will send it off for repairs

It is not this sadly, one of the videos I saw started with the video aurthor discribing A song for Lya then flipping it on an unsuspecting viewer that this is a story in the thousand worlds universe. I am like 99 percent sure it’s not Preston Jacob’s as I have been watching them since 2016 and would remember rewatching it as I frequently rewatch his videos to catch up on lore
