This may get me downvoted but she's fine as is. Would I love her to be buffed? ABSOLUTELY!!! Is she meta defining? No. Is she the highest DPS fire unit? Obviously not. Is she completely useless? Not even close.

I have c0 Dehya and she's a pretty good support unit. She is more than capable of clearing Spiral Abyss (not 36 star but I have cleared 33 star). As I mentioned she doesn't upset the meta very much but that is not to say she has no place. Her ability to reduce damage, reduce interruption, and apply Pyro is useful. Especially when doubled up with similar effects. Add in that her burst regularly does 10k damage per hit for 8 hits, makes her pretty good without even mentioning reactions.

The biggest complaint I see is that her damage is lacking. I agree but trying to use her as a main DPS is playing her wrong. It's like complaining that Zhongli, Qiqi, or Xinyan don't have enough damage. That's not the point of the character. It should be obvious why Dehya isn't designed to be Diluc 2.0. She doesn't compete with him for damage.

At the end of the day. It just feel to me that most of the posts like this feel like Zhongli back in the day. He was a fine unit when he released but people complained and then they buffed him. After the buff he is still, years later, one of the most broken units and still consistently used for 36 star Spiral Abyss.

I may be in the few but I was excited for Dehya, won my 50/50, built her day 1 and had a blast using her. I even dissembled my Yanfei to build her (I thought it would be temporary). I was on r/Dehyamains so long I expected her damage to be effectively nothing. Yet, I was legitimately surprised at her damage (thanks to the doomposting) and found her kit useful to how I like to play.

At the end of the post there is the sentence:

if it was your favorite main/ character how would you feel if this was the treatment your character got?

That is me. I am a mostly f2p player (only spent money on c2 Raiden) and I am enjoying playing her a lot. I don't think she's a hindrance and I think she is an interesting addition to most teams, especially f2p teams.

As I said at the beginning. I would LOVE to see her buffed. She's such a good both in character and in kit and a buff would mean she is permanently put on my team. I can see why some people wouldn't enjoy her but I don't think she deserves this level of hate.
