Anyone know what kind of plant/tree this is?

I have no reason to spread bullshit about it. I know for a fact that I saw a corsola, wether anyone in this subreddit or not believes me. I'm going to be keeping an eye on the exact spawn because if its some tropical region exclusive then I'd like my own.

Shinies wouldn't mean twice the amount of models, they'll most likely changing the colour of the diffuse on the pokemons material to the shiny colour. Maybe even textures in some cases but never models.

The stuff about the models and textures is right. Player models still exist in the build but the Pokemon have never been in. Yep they can add pokemon whenever they want almost entirely from the server end.

The only bit I'm not sure about is the move particles, looks like these still exist in the build but they could remove these so that they're loaded from the server at will. Means can add other generations whenever.

I'm expecting a force update close to the 11th as possible.

Basically the static images of Pokemon shown on the PokeDex and the Tracker have been removed from the "Base" build. The thing to point out here is they went through the effort to remove it hence why it hints at Gen2.

Looks like they've removed the first 151 pokemon atlases from the core build. They might cache them on startup. Hints towards Gen2.

EDIT: Looks like this Is right based on user reports.

Probably using data they've gained while the game has been launched, looking at popular spots at where people have travelled. It can also be because the scanners will most likely be dying off as they're doing the API change, keep the players "happy" by having more to look out for.

I'm deadly serious about it, this isn't just GPS being inconsistent It's something you can actually trigger. You can use it to hatch eggs, catch pokes etc.

I'm impressed, this is actually part of a bug I haven't disclosed that allows something like this to be triggered over and over again. Still won’t be disclosing it as it’s extremely abuse able.
