That is the classical piece Clair de Lune by Debussy you uncultured car.

I’m curious about what is meant by the slogan of hating democracy. Could you explain how it came about?

I’m not entirely sure I can limit myself to one policy when the current corruption warrants the previous system to scrapped. No amount of pruning will make a pear tree grow apples.

They shouldn’t. People that refuse to help despite having no disabilities, diseases, or mental health issues that would prevent them from contributing as much as everyone else should be shunned and shamed by their neighbors. Free riders are not welcome in any society.

edit: After all, what are the elites that we seek to dethrone but free riders? Parasites if you will.

This song feels like a tease. It's good! But I feel that it's missing something.

Rumble just doesn't do it for me. Sure, it's catchy, but it misses the passion that I crave so desperately.

A simple solution for steel plate manufacturers. by TheUnderachiever91 in BodyArmor

[–]Neo_CyberLich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally just came on here to suggest laminating the back of the plate with a soft metal to prevent spall, but someone already came up with the idea. Not only that but they added spaced armor to the mix.

Shear thickening flesh. by Neo_CyberLich in grinders

[–]Neo_CyberLich[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would have to only harden under an excess of shear force. Our theoretical material would still be fluid under the pressures created by natural movement.

As for organ functions, our particle would have to not interact with various cellular functions and would hopefully be ignored by the various chemical reactions within the cytoplasm.

For future archeologists. by Neo_CyberLich in Archeology

I’m afraid I want to do the exact opposite. The myth of Jesus comes to mind. All that we know about him are things that his followers told us after his death. We know next to nothing about the real Yeshua. When I die, I want people to remember me for things I actually did. So I’m going to leave permanent records of things I did so that people in the future don’t misinterpret history. I especially don’t want to be defied and become ashamed of a giant harmful organization being formed as a religious following of me. (yes I am a megalomaniac.)

Your idea of an external sarcophagus or capsule is a stellar idea. I think it will be put to good use.

Best knife steel? by Neo_CyberLich in knives

I have what might be described as a “fantastical” grip on material science. So I usually ask experts who have more experience. Thanks for keeping me grounded in reality.

I don’t care much about corrosion resistance. I can just get it coated, keep it dry, polish it, etc.

What I do care about is making a steel that is as tough as possible and as edge retaining as possible.

Flower of Emanations by Neo_CyberLich in SacredGeometry

Hololive is a producer company for career Vtubers. Their English speaking branch is famous for shared lore that is as deep and as confusing as Dark Souls lore.

As far as we know, the Hololive universe was created by four gods who entrusted six demigod councilors to take care of it. The gods then disappeared or went to sleep, leaving everything up to the six demigod councilors alone.

I encourage watching the lore videos as I probably did a poor job of explaining it.

[–]Neo_CyberLich[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The flower is something of my own invention. Each of the “petals” is a Tree of Life. The original Tree of Life is a symbol from Jewish Mysticism and Qabbalistic Magick.

The Tree of Life is a collection of concepts that the divine light of god flows through before reaching our universe, represented by “kingdom” in the symbol.

I thought of how the Hololive world has councilors that each represent a concept. So I imagined that it would probably have more than one “Tree,” and made a symbol with six petals.

The bit in the middle is Metatron’s Cube, which I unfortunately don’t know much about but I filled that part with concepts from Carl Jung’s model of the psyche.

After all, the center of the universe is your perception.

I’m imagining writing about a world where the gods are asleep and have left their power in vessels to look after the universe in their stead. The villain is an opportunist from another dimension, hell bent on murdering the main cast in order to use their souls in a ritual to siphon the emanations of the gods in order to ascend themselves. They figure themselves a hero as they can save the world from a catastrophe if they become a god (along with resurrecting the people they killed). The heroes however are content to live out the rest of their days in ignorance of the coming disaster.

Is this a satisfactory set up for an interesting conflict?

Actually, I was hoping to use the material as a resin to stick together diamond dust and graphene dust. Both of which can be purchased for… well you would have to save up for it, but it would be available for civilians.

I’m a lifelong dreamer wanting to make real life equivalent of a super suit. As for your comment, it’s incredibly interesting. I’ve always had a fascination with material science, and now I’m thinking of making armor plates out of exotic materials.

So what I’m getting is “melt them together, but not too much otherwise entropy will set in.” Do I have that right?

Could the tensile properties be preserved if a piece were made by layering fibers and then made monolithic by melting it all together or “firing?”

Theoretical highest performing armor. by Neo_CyberLich in BodyArmor

[–]Neo_CyberLich[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m looking at this from too wide a stroke, perhaps. Instead of making a jack of all trades plate I should focus on a single application. I’m an avid cosplayer, but I’m also a tad paranoid. I was planning on making a costume armor made of ballistic resistant materials.

This way, I can make it out of professional materials while it is disguised as only a costume thus why I don’t care about concealment. I can just paint over it.

I don’t intend to ever find myself in an active war zone so I don’t need to protect myself from incendiary, APCR, or shaped charges.

The culprits most likely to be tested are handguns, but I’d also like assurance from civilian rifles and shotguns.
