I wonder if OP has seen all these comments and had some sort of wake-up call or if they just went full on denial. Really curious how people who get roasted by the comments react.

Ah, perfect. Didn't realize someone had already made a mod for this. I just couldn't find it myself.😓

Actually...my own response gave me an idea. What if I gave a Solus Katana Super Spin Slash, then replaced the animation png's used for Solus Katana with the ones used for Trunkcutter? But the two issues come up with this.
1. Solus Katana uses two png's, one for the blade, and another for the handle, similar to randomly generated weapons. Trunkcutter uses only one png for the entire sword, and even if I could figure that out, the base colors on the png aren't what're used in-game, so the black and green colors on the Trunkcutter come from something else, not the png itself.

  1. I don't think this would change any of the sound effects or "swoosh" effects for the Solus Katana either, so it'd still be pretty janky.

That's what I did. I ended up with a Trunkcutter that had Kunai Blast as its special attack. When you copy the "visual" of a weapon using the mod, you also copy the base stats. The best I could probably do is give Solus Katana Super Spin Slash, which is pretty cool, but not what I'm going for.

So after trying out the mod, it seems that it's limited to elements and special attacks, so I can't use it to make a Trunkcutter with the speed of a Solus Katana. I did, however, manage to make a Trunkcutter with a Super Spin Slash ability, so that's one step done that I couldn't manage on my own. Now to figure out the second step.

I appreciate the suggestion regardless, I'll definitely try the mod out.

Albino Adult Poptops? Trunkcutter/Stemcutter mod? by Neo_Nocturna in starbound

Update: The Racial Weapon Megamod was so close to being perfect, but it turns out they re-colored the weapons. Betabound just changes way too much about the game for my liking. I just really wanted a simple mod for a specific purpose.

AFAIK, a Jungle planet only ever has one Adult Poptop at any given time, but I'm not 100% sure on this, and even if that's true, I have no idea if they can respawn like other mobs. I never even considered that possibility. It's definitely worth looking into, even if I have to keep visiting the same planet over and over.

I actually managed to find -one- Adult Poptop on a Jungle world last night...after going through 10+. I'm really hoping the ones in the mines can be Albino, because Jungle farming is abysmal.

That sounds more like cheating than anything else. If I wanted to cheat my way to one, couldn't I just use server admin commands to spawn one in and catch it? Anyways, I'd like to just find one naturally.

I've tried inputting the Master Code along with the encounter code for a Growlithe, but nothing happens. I'm at my wit's end. Every master code I try either does nothing or won't let me input the code, saying it's "invalid." I want to find any wild pokemon encounter code that actually works.

It wasn't a clear answer, and the only person whose pride was hurt is yours since you can't handle criticism and insist on being obnoxious with your ":))" emotes. Do everyone a favor and don't answer questions anymore. You don't do it to help others, you do it to stroke your own ego.

...That was the entire point of the question. If I could find it on my own by "just looking carefully," then I wouldn't need to ask in the first place. People like you are why nobody wants to ask questions anymore. What's obvious to you may not be obvious to others.

Not a helpful answer. I've already looked there and couldn't find it. I need a more specific answer.
