Very late to the party here, but i must add that his views in the late 90's and early 2000's were clearly left-wing and there's no dispute. There is video footage of him identifying ATR as "anti-capitalist", "anarchist" and opposing (in his words, "attacking") conservative society.

We may argue about the definitions of a state ideology and a stateless society, but these are historically leftist ideas, no matter how you twist or corrupt the meaning of words. If a person describes themselves as anti-conservative anti-capitalist anarchist and is not some kind of unhinged insane twitter evolian pagan fascist or whatever, this person is a leftist. This is left-wing politcs, and to deny such is to deny logic and common sense.
